The Ministry of Transport and Communications announced that Ras Al Khaimah International Airport has opened its doors to passengers and has started servicing regular commercial flights. It is noted that modernization and renovation works have been completed at the airport, allowing it to comply with international safety and quality service standards.
The President of the Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, Engineer Sheikh Salem bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, emphasized that the airport's opening for regular passenger flights contributes to the development of infrastructure and the tourism sector in the region. In his statement, he noted: "The opening of Ras Al Khaimah International Airport is an important step in the development of the aviation sector in the United Arab Emirates and contributes to strengthening ties with other countries."
